Amazing Train Track!!!!!

Bam!!  Look at the AMAZING train track daddy and I made. Best track EVER!!!  We needed something to distract us from our sadness due to the Seahawks losing the Super Bowl. This just about did the trick.

Thanks to Uncle Dan for all the amazing new pieces. I am constantly testing the strength of my battery powered engine. Just for the record, at last testing, it could pull four other loaded cars up the hills. Can you imagine the ride down the other side of the mountain?! Wheeeee!

Halloween Is My New Favorite Holiday

This year I was able to fully grasp the magnitude that is Halloween.  I thought that Jerry Seinfeld bit about Halloween and how putting on various weird outfits would make people give you free candy was a joke, but it turns out it is 100% true!!! Mommy, Daddy, and I hit our neighborhood hard.  At one point, my bucket was too heavy for me to even carry, so Mommy dumped it in her bag and on we went with round two!  I found knocking and ringing doorbells at every house in site to be quite exciting as well.

Here I am carving the pumpkin I got at the pumpkin patch during preschool! With some assistance from mom and dad, I made a carved pumpkin of the traditional sort. It was a little exciting.

Proud of my pumpkin. Watch this, I'm pretty sure I can palm it like a little basketball!

Out in the field ringing doorbells and getting candy!

When my legs couldn't carry me anymore, it was time to call it a night. I gave it all I could, and the rewards were great. This is one happy Captain America!

I did say "trick or treat" to everyone who answered their door, but I'm pretty sure it was my bulging muscles and raging abs that intimidated them into giving me the candy.

Mommy and daddy played supportive roles during the night. You know, backup costumes, hauling the extra candy, holding my hand when crossing the street, and hauling extra candy. With our powers combined, it was quite the successful night!

I loved helping mom and dad decorate for Halloween. I was on spider detail, placing the creepy critters of all sizes in various locations around our porch. We even have a remote control spider.

The results after a fun night of carving and roasting pumpkin seeds.

More pumpkin carving! My wondrous work is the one in the middle, in the back.

Fabulous Fall Adventures

This fall we had LOTS of friends and family come to visit.  We loved having the company and I was able to give many tours of our really really big house (I am speaking comparatively, of course, to my previous place of residence).  If you have not yet experienced one of my house tours, you better get here quick!  They are fun, popular, and can get a little wild when we reach the play room.  I'm currently booking through the summer of 2015.

This is my preschool class. Yes, it is a small group, but we know how to have a good time.  I would have it no other way.

This, my friends, is an apple. Good for eating, juicing, and cooking, it also has received the unfortunate fate of being representative of the forbidden fruit eaten by Adam and Eve, thus resulting in their expulsion from the Garden and Eden and, then, the fall of the entire human race. Wowzers.

Me and my friend Finley getting silly at the pumpkin patch!

Our friends the Kooles visited from Canada. Usually when I see Racquel we are hiking up mountaintops, but today this did just fine

This is really cool because if you forget the previous picture, it really looks like we are standing in the water!

Oh the thrill of the rush at the start of a slide ride!

Wanna hear one of my favorite jokes? Why did the girl smear peanut butter on the road? To go with the traffic jam!! To hear more select jokes, you will have to attend my house tour.

Our friends the Stuarts came over to visit from Seattle. We read books at Aunties, played at the park, ate ice cream... hmmm... mom and dad, can the Stuarts come over again?

Mommy and I spent 2 days at grandma and grandpa's making apple cider. It was hard work, so I kept things light with my instinctive and spontaneous sense of humor.

Adding my own personal touch to this batch. Actually, I dropped my half-eaten lollipop in here and can't seem to find it. Oh well, at least my hands aren't sticky anymore.

Cheers to the apple cider crew hard at work!

We had good weather and bad weather while making the apple cider. In the middle of it all, God sent us these rainbows, promising us that we would finish.

Umm... is apple cider suppose to look like this?

Look at that golden yummy goodness! We made 40 gallons total! I can't take all the credit, after a couple hours on the first day, I delegated my responsibilities to those around me.

Feeding the ducks at the park has become one of my favorite activities. I was a little unsure about how that goose in the corner was eyeing me, though...

We made a leaf pile as big as the Expedition one day, and you know that is big! A dramatic leaf throwing battle quickly ensued.
After a truce had been made, we made this cool leaf fort. Who knew leaves could have so many uses?

Within a minute after this peaceful picture of serenity was taken, the leaf war raged on again!

Legos have become a new passion for me. Here is one of my creations. I call it, "Storm Trooper on a Spaceship that has Lots of Lasers that Shoot Lasers."

Disneyland - For the First Time

At the end of June we went to Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Becky, Uncle Nate, Zach and Isaac.  We had a blast!!!  It was a little hot and overwhelming at times, but I must have loved it because all I do is tell mom and dad I want to go back. Right now would be ideal.

I met many of my favorite characters and went on some AWESOME rides. My favorite ride was It’s a Small World, to mom and dad’s delight we rode it at least 5 times. Inexplicably dad had a detailed horror movie plot fully formulated before we left Disneyland. Not sure what that’s about. I also really enjoyed seeing Mater and going on a ride with Winnie the Pooh.

On the jungle ride we saw a bunch of hunters, almost ran into some angry hippos and were fired on by natives. Despite the trauma I couldn’t help but smile with Grandma and Zach.

Isaac and I discovered treasure on Pirates Island. We tried to take some home but it was mysteriously stuck. Instead of being true pirates we were expected to pay for all the swag we took home. Phooey!

Here I am on my favorite ride. I believe it was at this point that the horror movie plot started to formulate.

Some kids get so excited about hugs. I’m not one of those, nope.

Yes, this is my car. I am that cool. It’s kind of like transformers, I bought this car and it turned out to be a talking car!

Filling up at Flo’s V8 Cafe.

Who knew, elephants really can fly.

So if we are both guarding this fortress where are our swords?

We took numerous breaks to practice my Jedi Knight skills. I will conquer the dark side.

Donald Duck is not nearly as grumpy as everyone makes him out to be. He’s actually quite agreeable. And what’s with Disneyland selling almost no Donald Duck paraphernalia. I was shockingly disappointed.
