Life in 2012

Here are some pictures from life in 2012.  We now have a camera again!  My parents seems to be on a treasure hunt in our house because they keep ripping up the floor and tearing out walls.  Whatever they are looking for must be good, I just hope for their sakes that they find it soon.  Grandpa Stewart has been over quite a bit to help which we have all loved.  I hope your 2012 has been good so far, surrounded by finished floors and finished walls!

Believe it or not this is our kitchen. We were without stovetop and oven for a couple of weeks and had a wonderful view of the attic through this wall.

Really the only object in the house we can brag about, our refrigerator became the centerpiece of the room.

It has been cold and snowy this winter. Despite that fact, I feel pretty invincible right now. Let it snow!

Out doing one of my favorite things - hiking. Mom does pretty good carrying me, sometimes when she slows down you have to apply pressure with your heels into her side.

Here is our new wall, man new walls are a lot of work!

The finished product (at least until Grandpa Reiswig makes our kitchen cabinets)

Another hike through a winter wonderland. Like mommy, daddy needs a good kick every now and then to keep the speed up.

So apparently there was no treasure behind the kitchen wall, so my parents decided to move into the bathroom. Notice the tub is no longer. We were without one for over a week. Tubs sure are nice things.

Here are the treasure hunters (I like to count myself in that number).

While Daddy and Grandpa got into things deep at the house, Mommy took me to see Grandma Stewart and Great Grandpa

I prefer feeding myself these days. I feel that one does not get the full effect of eating food unless it is spread around your face, hands, and arms.

Man my parents are always sneaking shots!

Inside joke between me and Grandma, it would take too long to explain.

I like to consider myself one of the youngest acrobats in the world.
At Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's house

And my head almost fits an adult hat!

Here is the hallway and our bathroom with the new pocket door into the bathroom.

Here is our new clawfoot tub, notice the bathroom is walled in again.  Just waiting on those shower curtains!

Christmas 2011

Here are some pictures and videos from my second Christmas!  This Christmas was full of family as we went to Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's house and then to Seattle to Grandma and Grandpa Reiswig's house.  I saw all my aunts and uncles, my cousins, and my mom's cousins and aunt.  I also saw my birthmom Tawnie and the rest of my birthfamily, what better way to spend Christmas?!  We were without a camera so there aren't many pictures, but here are a few we did get.

A few notes on what you are about to see: I was not very impressed with Santa this year.  I didn't lose it, I held it in the whole time, but I gave everybody my death-stare.  Don't let the video of me in the snow fool you, I am quite the walker.  If you had that many layers on, and these weird, new, poofy snow boot things, you wouldn't be walking either.  You will see a portion of the 2nd annual performance of the manger scene.  My new baby cousin Isaac swept the baby Jesus role right out from under me, so I was Joseph this year.  It was for the best though, being over 1 year old now I feel that an adult role was more fitting.  Enjoy!
