Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

We wanted to share these videos with all of the Mothers, Grandmothers, Great Grandmothers, Aunts and friends in our lives.  You  have all played a role in Isaiah's life in the last year and a half and have helped to shape him into the amazing person he is becoming.  I am so blessed to be able to celebrate this day because he is my son.  He is a treasure from heaven and we hope you enjoy his kisses, smiles and the sunshine today.

Grandma's Visit

Grandma Stewart came to visit me for a few days (and, I guess, mom and dad too).  We had a lot of fun together reading books, playing games, and eating good food.  Here are some pictures from a park we went to.  Enjoy!

Wow, that bird is sitting on a branch directly above my head!

I cannot wait for long arms.

The climax of the thrilling story I was telling. Grandma was pretty impressed.

My dogs. I am now starting to know them by name!

And I thought chairs were fun to climb...

I'm pretty high in the air here, like at least a couple of feet.

Going for a walk with Grandma. Aunt Alex bought me this hat and I now have it with me wherever I go. I prefer to wear it at the approximate angle of 63 degrees from my face, although if I am feeling particularly rebellious I'll wear if full on backwards.

Grandma is so fun to go on walks with, I felt she deserved a flower.

Hats are so cool, even fire hydrants have them!

Just hangin' in the hood.

So I've had several experiences now on these contraptions called swings. I'm still reserving judgment, there's a lot of movement on those things.

Wow, now this thing can move sand! Technology is so amazing.

Although somewhat startling like the swing, the slide is growing on me.

Kick'n It With the Fam

Hello everybody!  Here are some pictures from around the house and of a camping trip we took to Big Hole Montana.  We hope you all are well!

Don't worry, I'm a professional.  Helping dad with projects is just part of the job description.

Hey, hey...look at all this sunshine.  My tan is already better than dad's!

Whew!  Pushing these round things is a lot harder than it looks.  I'll supervise while dad does the rest of them.

Books, books, books, I love books! You will often see me with a pile of books like this on the couch, in my room, or next to the throne I shall soon conquer.
Bring on the brain freeze.  I'm now a regular smoothie connoisseur.

A picture from the Nez Perce battleground in Big Hole MT. Mom and dad seemed pretty interested in the history here, I was just content dragging sticks.
Mom and dad walked approximately 3 miles with me on their shoulders like this - it was a blast! I never knew how many things there are on a face to grab.

Family portrait in the big hole.

The sky here in Montana is really big, I wonder if anyone else has noticed?

Ah... that was a great stick.

This area was beautiful, and seriously a really big hole.  There were mountain peaks like these all around us.

Yes, I have my fingers buried in dad's ears. Boy that makes him squirm.

I'm a regular little Lewis.  Off on another great adventure.

Our campsite, off some logging road, at the south end of the Bitterroot Valley. We realized why campsites in Montana don't open until June - it is really cold at night!

Fun with Friends and Easter

Before the big Easter weekend, some friends came down from Canada.  We had a blast going to the park and making easter eggs (a first for me!).  Then, after church on Easter we had a big Easter egg hunt.  Enjoy the pictures!

Heidi and I working on an Easter egg. We were good partners, although she wouldn't let me anywhere near the dye. It is hard to find people who believe in good teamwork these days.
Here I'm trying to sneak my hand in to snatch that egg. Everything was going great until the camera flash went off, way to go mom and dad!

This is my buddy Racquel. It is always good to have a solid toddler alliance in the house.

Still trying to snag an egg - hey... how did she get that egg?!
Climbing is now one of my favorite things in the world. Stairs, chairs, couches, tables, play-things, they all are potential victims of my stellar scrambling skills.

Check out this tunnel! I cruised through it in under 30 seconds (there were a few distractions)

Easter egg hunt!!! So I strolled into the backyard, just a normal day like any other, to find these colored eggs hidden everywhere. The best part about it: I got to touch each one.
The dogs were just as curious as I was. Here Cosmo is helping me make sure they all go where they should (the bowl, right?)

Action shot! I'm starting to develop quite the throwing arm, look at that follow-through!

Some of the eggs were quite the reach, here I hit the jackpot.

Here we are opening some Easter gifts. I was obviously pretty impressed.
