Life in the land of snow and clouds can be exciting if you manage to catch a sparkle of sunshine every now and again. It becomes an adventure of finding light and we went on lots of adventures to seek out that sunshine. February was a great month for me. Mom and dad finished my chalk board, Grandma Stewart came for a visit, I went to Philipsburg, Montana and saw a candy shop and we took a jaunt to Butte, Montana to visit Mama Tawnie and Grandpa Alex.

I now have a chalkboard wall that I can draw on to my heart's content! Mommy usually starts things off for me, then I add my own flair |

My favorite hat as of late has been my fireman's hat (it's hard to tell, but I am wearing matching fire truck pjs here) |
I received this strange looking red creature from Aunt Lacey and Uncle Danny. Together, we are large contributors to the neighborhood block watch program. |
On a hike just outside of Missoula. The snow was particularly kickable this day. |
It's always nice to have someone's shoulders to climb onto when you get tired. Now stop standing there and smiling, Daddy, let's get going! |
"Big Sky Country," hmmm... I think I'm beginning to understand what that means. |
Check out the little snow penguin! |
Grandma Stewart came over and we went to Phillipsburg, a couple hours from Missoula. Good pinecone throwing, there in Philipsburg. |
The best part of the trip was The Sweet Palace in Philipsburg. My 2 year old brain is still trying to fathom how much candy is in this store! |
Back at home after our Phillipsburg trip, we broke out the candy we bought. Mom, Dad, and Grandma Stewart seemed to be all excited about giving me this blue piece of candy, called a "sour bomb" or something like that. I don't know what the big deal was, I ate the thing right up! |
Grandpa Alex and I showed off our smiles. |
The planes at Grandpa Alex and Mama Tawnie's house where fascinating. I flew them around and made lots of noise. If only I could actually get one to take off. |
Mama Tawnie showed me some of her new artwork. It was an impressive collection! |
