Soccer Tots

Hey there! I'm taking soccer classes on Saturdays. Soccer tots consists of a bunch of kids running around, chasing balls, going through obstacle courses and then practicing our balancing skills. I'm having lots of fun meeting new people and playing with balls. Here's a taste of what we do on Saturday.

A balancing excercise. Daddy supervises.

Here I come and you'd better watch out cause I have the tickle stick!

Look at me hurdle those obstacles in a single bound!

Taking a break.

More obstacles.

These darn hula hoops keep running away from me.

Yeah! Pop the balls with the parachute is a new favorite.

So is playing under the parachute.

Easter Videos

Hello again!  Here are two videos from Easter.  The first video is of me opening gifts from Aunt Alex - my first Thomas the Train toys!  I have been playing with them every day.  The second video is of the Easter egg hunt that we had in our house.  Apparently, a festive rabbit broke into our house during the night and covertly placed eggs all over our house!  Who knows what our dogs were doing this whole time.  The task was placed on my shoulders to purge the house of these stealthily hidden eggs, which turned out to be a wondrous blessing because, unbeknownst to my parents, these eggs were full of chocolate!!!  Enjoy the videos and hope everyone had a great Easter!

Easter 2013

Easter was great!  We sang some great songs at church (mommy really seemed to be enjoying herself and I have to admit I got pretty excited about a couple of them as well), we had an amazing easter breakfast and enjoyed our time of fellowship. Then we went home and I hunted for easter eggs. Boy can those things be hard to find. They were full of yummy treats and toys.  I ate way more chocolate than was good for me and then I got to eat some more when I opened my easter baskets. Later on I got to hang out with aunt Lacey and uncle Danny, who came for a quick visit. I can't wait to see them again. Uncle Danny has this great device with lots of photos on it.

Enjoy my easter fun. Thanks to everyone for all of the awesome presents and candy - I'm in seventh heaven!

Also, all of the captions for the pictures are Isaiah's comments word for word when he looked at each picture.  After 2 years of guessing what he was really thinking, we now have his exact words!

"Isaiah having Easter egg, he's scary, he's not scary, no! Oh, there's coats, there's mommy's coat!"

"Salem and a bunny rabbit, he's scratching the bunny rabbit."
"Isaiah have pictures, Isaiah have Elmo!!!"

"Isaiah and Easter eggs, ya, that was a good story"

"Isaiah sliding down with the stairs, sliding on the slide."

"The trucks and Mator and McQueen. The McQueen is right there. Oh, Mator and McQueen and McQueen!"

"Isaiah is scooping on the excavator, Isaiah on the excavator, Ya! And he's scooooooping!"

"Lacey and Isaiah, she's funny, she's holding Isaiah."

"Isaiah and Mommy and Uncle Danny and, let's see here, and Isaiah and Mommy and Chelsea, no its not, it's Lacey and Uncle Danny and umm, Mommy and Daddy and... that's all."

"Uncle Danny, he's putting the paper and the scissors and I see a hat!"

March Madness (Literally :0)

Crazy busy best describes March. Daddy was enthralled by the actual March Madness college basketball competitions, even creating a final four bracket for a work competition. It is looking like he picked well - he might even win the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I was all over the place in March. I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Stewart while mom and dad finished painting our remodeled bathroom. I got to go see logging equipment, search for frogs and play outside in the woods. The best part of the whole deal was that I didn't have to smell noxious paint fumes for 5 days. Mom came to join the visit in early March. She and I spent lots of time tromping through the woods and while I napped, she made me a new bib - it's amazing. I never get dirty anymore, at least not when I eat.

After a great visit at the property I departed to the west side of Washington state for a visit with family.  Cousins Zack, Isaac and I played like crazy. Crazy was the word for our visits. We had fun and got a little rambunctious, just like boys do. Then it was up to Anacortes for a quick visit with uncle Kit, aunt Chelsea, their chickens, aunt Lacey, aunt Scooter and grandma. After thoroughly frightening the chickens, I watched aunt Chelsea open up some presents and then we headed back home to Montana to sleep for a week. Whew!

Daddy is the proud owner of this new tool box. THANK YOU Christmas!!! He can organize his tools to his hearts content. He now appears to be a happily organized project man.

Does that room need some paint or what!?

Taking a break from the paint fumes to venture to Traveler's Rest was in order after three days of hard work. Mom and dad got to see the place where Lewis and Clark camped right before they began their trek over the Rocky Mountains. Historians identified the location using organic matter found in the latrines. Who knew archaeology could be such dirty work?

Whoa! Where did this room come from? Now that is what I call a major improvement.

Grandma look! I found a rock and you must look at it. Then I must pick it up, carry it around and...oh, grandma, there's another rock. We much look at it. Then I must pick it up....

Now how did I get up here? Oh right, I flew, no, I jumped, no, I climbed. Now where did everyone go? Are they going to leave me here? I seem to be stuck. If only I could transfigure (Harry Potter fans smile) this tree into a slide.

I whipped out these treats for the dogs in about 10 minutes flat. They were so excited they drooled small lakes all over the sunroom.
Cattails are where it's at! They function well as swashbuckling hero material and they can be blown like a dandelion. They also serve well as an aid in hibernating frog discovery.  Who knew!?

I've got him this time, that frog doesn't stand a chance. I will capture and keep him, at least until I see the next cool rock.

Paul Anderson, grandpa and mommy went for a bike ride along the sunny Columbia.

Northeastern Washington really can be breathtaking.

Wheeeee!!!

Piggyback rides are now en vogue.  I don't know why everyone doesn't insist on being carried around like this.  It is a positively divine form of transportation.

I also like sitting in laps, especially for story time. Thanks grandpa.

The three cousins on an adventure. They have taken control of the pirate brig and are sailing after TREASURE!

Enthralled by the ipad.

A fabulous book themed baby shower. Green eggs here I come!

Look at all those yummy snacks! Aunt Lacey and mommy outdid themselves. The decorations were spectacular.
Here chickens, here chickens....I promise I won't hurt you.
The beautiful mother-to-be surrounded by lots of wonderful gifts.
