Annual Reiswig Family Camping Trip

After the trip to the Oregon Coast, I went to my first annual Reiswig family camping trip.  Much of our extended family on Daddy’s side was there and I was able to meet a lot of them for the first time! As the pictures show I got lots of quality holding time with family, which happens to be one of my favorite activities. Other highlights were playing with Lynsey and Hannah in my play pen, going for a bike ride up to a beautiful lake, lots of hiking, and a treasure hunt where I found new toys hidden right there in the woods! Of course, all of this was quite strenuous activity, so I had Mom and Dad carry me everywhere, hee hee!

Hannah and I had some good times at camping. She held me while people played games, I showed her all my toys in the play pen, we had a blast!

This is a hike we went on. From left to right: Craig, Daddy, Mommy, Dalton, Noah, and Jackson. That’s me on Mommy’s back, and I’m out like a light. I can’t say I really remember much from that hike.

Apparently these crazies took a dip in the glacial runoff behind them while we were on the hike. Sure it was warm out, but was that really necessary?

Here we are with Hannah’s sister, Caitlin, and my cousin Zack. They were the closest in age to me of the whole group, but since camping I have a new cousin!!! Isaac was born on August 18th, and I am very excited to meet him and share all of my wisdom and life experience I have gained thus far.

I find you get to know people much better if you just thrust your hand in their face. This is Daddy’s cousin Tanya, who I also got some good holding time with.

We’re on the treasure hunt for toys that have been mysteriously hidden up here in the mountains. Who knows how long these toys have been here, and who knows how Grandma Reiswig has come across these clues, but let’s find some treasure!

Hannah had to coolest hat on one day. We played a fun game where I tried to take it while she tried to keep it away from me.

The hidden treasure!!! It was quite the adventure, but we found it. I was very excited, as you can see. I couldn’t get it in my mouth fast enough!

What a group of kids, huh! Crawling doesn’t quite keep up with them, but next year I should be able to walk, so I’m planning on being right in the thick of things!
