Isaiah's Baptism

Isaiah's baptism was a very important day for Mom, Dad and Isaiah.  It is a ceremony during which we, as parents, commit to faithfully bring Isaiah up to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  It is also the day on which the Holy Spirit enters Isaiah and brings him to faith in Christ.  Isaiah was baptized in a christening gown that was made my Lindsey's great great great grandmother in 1887.  My great grandfather, grandmother, mother, myself and now Isaiah have been baptized in this gown.

Reading the liturgy for baptism.  The whole congregation participates in promising to watch over and shepherd Isaiah in his walk with God.
Being baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Mom and Dad were crying with joy.
Wiping the water from his head.
Praying for Isaiah and his walk with the Lord.
After the service we paused for some pictures.
