Summer Fun

Summer finally started in Missoula, so mom and dad decided to do what they always do when the sun is visible - go outside.  We went for a hike up Mt. Jumbo and enjoyed the view.  A few days later we headed to Great Falls to celebrate the 4th of July with daddy and got to see a buffalo jump that was used for thousands of years by the Native Americans. On the cooler days, Cosmo and I keep tabs on the neighborhood - you never know what might go down. Finally we headed to grandma and grandpa Stewart's for a quick visit and some amazing inner-tubing down the creek (I napped for that) before mom and dad headed off to celebrate their 10th anniversary (more on that later). Enjoy all of the sunshine - we sure did!

Hero that I am, I was giving directions to the woman who stopped to chat with us.  She talked for so long I thought she was lost.

Another mountain summitted.

All of us at the First People’s Buffalo Jump. If we had been standing here 500 years ago we would have been stampeded by 150 buffalo.

Thousands of years of stampeding footprints embedded in the rock.

The cliff from which the buffalo jumped.

Neighborhood block watch.

Aunt Chelsea and I sharing our affinity for the forest.

Enjoying the cool forest breezes on a hot day.

A good bounce is a surefire way to get me giggling. Mommy knows all the little tricks.

You think this is impressive? I also drove the RTV and had my first lesson on the backhoe.
